The National Center on Educational Outcomes provides national leadership in the participation of students with disabilities in national and state assessments, standards-setting efforts, and graduation requirements. For NCEO I developed an administrative website that the centre staff use on a daily basis as their primary tool for data entry and work flow administration. I also developed a public "Data Viewer" web site for NCEO that allows public access to the NCEO data. Visitors can use various report designers to develop flexible views of the data. This is a public website, give it a try!NCEO is funded by the US federal government which mandats accessibility requirements for use by persons with disabilities. The subject matter of these sites is 100% concerned with education of persons with disibilities so the Accessibility requirements were set very high. Here is the feedback I received from the client: "I wanted to thank you for the awesome work you've done on the Data Viewer. I'm especially happy that we pretty much breezed through the accessibility hurdle with our federal officer. If you hadn't stayed on top of accessibility issues from the beginning, we'd be in a pickle."  A topic specific vertical search engine and directory of over 1,500 winery web sites.  A guide to former streetnames in Manhatten compiled by New York historian Gilbert Tauber.  TrainPac is a hosted web based training system for authoring, hosting, and delivery learning material. To check it out visit the site, choose 'demo' on the menu and follow the instructions.  Luofu-Photo.com is a gallery of photographs by the artist 'Luofo'. Luofu uses ACDSee to catalog his photos adding notes and descriptions. I use ACDSee's XML export of these catalogs for the basis of the homepage, gallery and photo list pages. Luofu is able to add or update his photo collections on the site simply by emailing attachments to a special mailbox established for this purpose. The journal page "blog" allows Luofu to provide regular updates while traveling in Thailand. The site uses XML transformations (.XSLT) to construct the home page, gallery, and photo index pages.  Netro.ca offers streaming audio and video services. They had a need to provide their clients accurate and up to date statistics about their accounts. The twist in this case was that each client's publishing point was replicated across many servers (up to 10). I developed a system to harvest log data, and windows media server counters, and centralize it onto SQL server. Clients now have a comprehensive view of their account activity. Skookumsearch.com is a Sunshine Coast of BC specific search engine.  Sunshinecoast-photos.com is a photo album of the Sunshine Coast of BC.  WiccaCharms.com is an eCommerce site offering a nice collection of Wicca Jewelry.  Trainmark.com is one of the most successful B2B marketplaces for the IT training industry. It offers locators for training providers, contract instructors, courseware and rental classroom. Several new features have been added recently including a web service API, WML (mobile version), and an RFP exchange.  Modeled on the same premis as trainmark.com, commercial-divers.com is a referral site for Commercial-Divers.  Matrix Professional Video Systems is Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest's premiere technology integration and professional services organization. They specialize in professional video, visual effects, intelligent media servers, and high performance computer networking systems for the entertainment, educational, public, and corporate marketplaces. In short, they're your one stop source for state-of-the-art audio/video and digital production hardware and software. And that's only the beginning of what they offer!  This site is a reporting tool for market research surveys built using Perseus(tm). The client was producing many surveys a month using Perseus but was not satisfied with the stock reports. I wrote a VB Com object to read the perseus data definition files and create cross-tabbing reports with charts. Have a look for yourself, login as demo demo.  This assessment tool ended up as a very large implementation. The assessment portion it-self was straight forward however the accompanying administrative site ended up as a sales cycle management tool for 30 national sales rep's. (login as demo demo)  Global Equity Survey This large financial survey was sponsored by some tier-1 accounting and think tank firms. The visitors to this site where executives of fortune 100 and 500 companies. (sorry no longer live)
 This was a straight forward survey/assessment tool built for an event marketing and management solutions company. This site was so successful that the client had me update it so that it could be sold as a co-branded system. (login as demo)  This is a catalog eCommerce site built for a very nice company (these guys really like pets) They are located in Surrey and make great cat food. They also make their own Holistic Dog Food I was recently successful in increasing their number of visitors by factors of 10 within a few months time.

 Allison Wright is ReceptiveEarth.com. She produces hand dyed and natural hemp twine, and I am happy to call her a friend and so I put this site together for her. By design it is a simply site with all the product facts easy to find and read. There are two distinctive things about this site. First we achieved our primary goal of high google rank, scoring top spot for "wholesale hemp products" within a week. Second, the order form on the bottom on the main page, while easy to understand and use by ordinary humans, employs some advanced cross-browser scripting that many geeks would enjoy taking a look at. (Dynamically adding a table row containing form fields while all the retaining event handlers) see you have to be a geek to get off on that.
