In September 2009 Dave Chisholm (Lonecrow.net Consulting) took on a difficult challenge: to replace an inadequate, expensive, poorly-serviced association management and web content management system that had been a major source of frustration for years, with a state-of-the-art system that provided solid functionality from its first beta release, and soon evolved to surpass staff and management's expectations, despite significant scope creep and shifting requirements.

That Dave was able to accomplish in a matter of weeks what would have taken most development companies months or years, seems miraculous to me as a former software project manager.
